Bonjour from Italy!

Bonjour! It feels like I haven’t written on this blog in ages, but really it’s probably been only about a week or two. So much stuff has happened. First of all, I moved to SICILY. 2 Kids, one night in a hotel near the Mexican border, a shuttle to the airport, a delayed flight to LA, a very confusing LAX experience, a 12 hour flight to Rome, a very hot and busy Rome airport (there was a fire awhile ago and we had to take a shuttle to our terminal) and another small flight to the island of Sicily… and I WAS TIRED. My kids were sick, I was sick and it was about 100 degrees everywhere.

So now we’re here.

The next thing, I’m married to someone in the military, so I actually hadn’t seen my husband in about 4-5 months. This has been the longest time we’ve been apart so far (longer times apart will probably be in our future I’m sure) and just getting used to each other again has been interesting. He’s a neat freak, I’m not. I squeeze the toothpaste in the middle, he squeezes from the bottom. The struggle is real guys.

So our family is pretty much situated now.

And then we had to deal with not having wifi for awhile, all of us being jetlagged and sick, and then the freak outs of actually saying “hey we all live together in Italy now”. Most people get stressed out moving a few blocks away or to a different town. Since 2011, I’ve lived in 3 states and 2 countries. Stress is my middle name.

So here I am, back to blogging. I’ll have a ton of things to write about now; all the places we explore, the beauty products I buy, the food I eat, how I feel about living in Italy. It’s gonna be great. And there will be a giveaway this week. My very first one. It’s super awesome and I’m very excited. Thanks for sticking with me. I love you. Also I am so close to France now it’s crazy. Actually being in France would be EVERYTHING.

More posts this week for sure. And I’m snapchatting pretty much every day. I’m fakefrenchgirl on there, and also on twitter and instagram too.
